American Forward Shawn Long (208-F-1993, agency: Pensack Sports) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Busan KCC Egis, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 28.
The 32-year old player had a double-double of 37 points and 21 rebounds, while his team beat Sono SG (#7, 11-20) 96-90. Egis maintains the 5th position in South Korean KBL. KCC Egis is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 17-14 record. In the team's last game Long had a remarkable 64.0% from 2-point range. He turned to be Egis' top player in his first season with the team. Former University Louisiana at Lafayette star has very solid stats this year. Long is in league's top in points (4th best: 19.5ppg), rebounds (2nd best: 12.9rpg) and averages impressive 60.7% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Nathan Knight (208-F/C-1997) of Sono Skygunners. Knight had a very good evening with a double-double of 22 points and 14 rebounds. Bad luck as Skygunners lost that game 90-96 to slightly higher-ranked KCC Egis (#5, 17-14). Sono SG managed to keep the same 7th spot in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 11-20 record. Knight is a newcomer at Sono SG, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 19.3ppg (#5). He also registered 11.9 boards per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American center Jameel Warney (203-C-1994) of Seoul SK Knights (#4). Warney got into 30-points club by scoring 38 points in the last round. He went also for eight rebounds . Despite Warney's great performance the Knights lost 89-92 to the lower-ranked Seoul Thunders (#9, 10-20). But his team cannot count on just a single shooter as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Seoul Knights needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 17 victories and 13 lost games. Warney has a great season in South Korea. After 27 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in points with 24.7ppg (best scorer), rebounds with 11.2rpg (4th best) and assists with 4.6apg (6th best).
